Neurological Rehab

Our Neurological Rehab program is a relatively new approach to the treatment of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, stroke, and spinal cord injury. It involves the concept of retraining the body's ability to perform tasks.

Neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. This approach aims to address the “internal” aspects of neurological diseases and symptoms, leading to significant functional improvements.

Our Neuro Rehab program is to improve mobility by increasing amplitude and exaggerating movement patterns that will lead to safer movements and improve quality of life. Patients are shown specific exercises that involve "large" movements, leading to a smoother performance of daily activities.
